We sell beef raised on grass at our farm available by the cut or bulk orders of ground beef. We are a small family owned “barn yard” farm in central Maine. Located in Skowhegan on 12 acres of land since 1999. Our love of animals inspired us to start a small farm on our property. It has been a great learning opportunity for us. We want to share our farming experiences and help others to become self sufficient as well.  We pride ourselves in raising high quality meats for our customers. Moodytown Gardens is a diversified farm located on 75 beautiful acres of land in Palmyra. We focus on raising pastured pork, mixed vegetables, and cut flowers. Winterberry Farm of Belgrade Maine, a 40 acre certified organic, horse and oxen powered farm. Operated by Mary Perry and her three kids, Kenya 19, Gil 145and Sage 9. with extensive cut flower gardens, Mary creates floral pieces for weddings and events. The gardens at the farm are open for tours, they have a full service farmstore with a certified kitchen, the yummiest homemade pies, wild Maine blueberry, apple, raspberry, strawberry/rhubarb, triple berry,pumpkin and more come out of that kitchen, also at the farmers market will be there jar goods, filled with jams, relishes, salsas and coponatas. This will be Winterberry’s second year at the Skowhegan market,  Mary and her kids started there farm 14 years ago. They are a 50 member CSA farm and have a small flock of sheep from whom they hand spin wool and homemade wool socks.
